Healthwatch Blackpool worked with Public Health to hear from young people about how PSHE education can help reduce stigma around LGBTQIA+ in Blackpool.
Findings showed that sex education often focuses on heterosexual relationships, and young people think there’s a strong need for more inclusive teaching about different sexualities and genders.
