Blackpool Council, Healthwatch Blackpool, and Boing Boing Foundation have 5 years of funding for a health inequalities research project (HDRC) from the National Institute for Health & Care Research (NIHR).
The Blackpool community will be at the heart of this project. Working together as co-researchers, we will ensure that people’s lived experiences of facing health inequalities drives our work . Together, we will find solutions that will make a difference to people’s lives.
Our community engagement event is taking place on Wednesday 14th June.
Blackpool residents and local community groups and services are invited to drop-in on the day anytime between 1pm and 5pm at The Grange Theatre Room, Bathurst Avenue, Blackpool, FY3 7RW.
We would love for you to spread the word within your community and invite people to come along for a friendly, informal chat with the team to learn more about the project and help shape the four priority areas which are, education, employment & skills, early years, housing & mental health. Light refreshments and snacks will also be provided.
Places can be confirmed using our Eventbrite link however registration is not essential and anyone is welcome to attend the event!
