International Day of Happiness 2021

To celebrate International day of Happiness 2021, we are taking part in a socially distanced lunch time dance break to cha cha slide and time warp, organised by our Healthwatch Project Assistant Michael Flynn. The aim of this dance is to provide positivity to staff and acts as a reminder to take time for happiness in our busy lives.

The theme this year is:

‘Keep Calm. Stay Wise. Be Kind.’

This is to recognise the difficult year we have all had globally, and to emphasise the importance of showing kindness and compassion to others. At Healthwatch Blackpool, we treat each individual we work alongside with kindness, and strive for a fairer, more equal society. The theme of International Day of Happiness this year is not only relevant to the pandemic, but also our vision, mission and values at Healthwatch Blackpool.

On behalf of all of our staff and volunteers, we are sending best wishes for happiness and health to you all.
